Western & Chinese Astrology

Chinese astrology has it's roots in Taoism an ancient religion of China, and is centered around the characteristics of animals. Contained within the Chinese astrological system are 12 animals and five elements, thus giving us a 60 year cycle. The elements are Water, Metal, Earth,Fire and Wood. The animals don't just govern the years either, they are also alloted a month and a time of day. This gives a total of 8640 combinations of horoscopes ( 5 elements x12 animals x12 months x 12 times of day) With this many combinations Chinese astrology is well known for it's interesting and accurate predictions
